Internet Developer (basically a computer programmer) and website designer, and videographer (weddings and the like) on the side.
I agree, knowing a little bit about peoples backgrounds helps us to understand each other better and gives a little insight into what may have driven a post or comment. What I also find interesting is what peoples previous professions/careers were, for instance I started out as a cabinet maker and ended up designing IT systems for banks (I can't figure out how that happen either )

This ^ i have a good professional qualification in structual engineering but now drive lorrys via owning my own building firm for years, couldn't have guessed that 35 years ago when i knew everything cos it was all black n white!

Our structural engineer retired last year, it's proving difficult to find a firm or an individual that's prepared to work with our contractors in a practical capacity, most seem to go full on belt and braces which is neither practical or cost effective! The way of the world I suppose...
IT Training team leader by week and instructor by weekend...corporate events..red letter days etc...doing zombi events/outdoor challenges like sniper shooting, off road buggies and loads more mad stuff.
