what's the best way to get a camper up a damp grass hill?

  1. Or these if you cant afford them lovely tyres, i take um everywhere ya never know ;) That is the yellow things ,suppose the feet might come in handy too :lol:

  5. I am glad mine is to low to go up and down grassy hills i will stay on the level bits and just watch you guys

  7. Has anyone tried the hessian / bed sheets - did the grass survive?

    We can't tear the field up getting vans up there as the farmer needs the field intact...

    as a landrover driver of 21 years i rarely get stuck, plan your route ahead, try to go up and across so you are climbing but not steeply, lower the tyre pressures in the driving wheels, avoid steering too much and power on in any flatish areas then try to let momentum take you through rough parts, worst thing to do is power on at the base of a hill if it's slippy, you'll just go down. i didn't get stuck at camperjam but as anyone who saw me drive to the late bay area on sunday noticed i came across at a fair speed bouncing like a tigger! good job i'm riding high.
