The sliding door interior lock worked once.
Apart from that, everthing else works well enough. Even some of the non-standard bits like the 16 volts supply for the fuel solenoid seem to keep on working, and the three small computers still keep a couple of multifunction displays working.

  3. You were lucky to notice that!

  9. My indicators don’t cancel but there’s no cancelling ring fitted so thats probably part of the reason. Touch wood everything else works for now

  14. Had a recent `revalation` ...
Cutting a long story short i`ve always suspected a problem with the split charging setup i fitted a year or two ago .
After fully charging the battery and driving for 3hrs to April Techenders the battery was flat after a couple of days useing the fridge . I`d just got the interior in and fitted a fag lighter socket into which i bunged a voltmeter which told me everything i needed to know on the run home - no charge being passed into the leisure battery .
@mikedjames commented on a post that i should see a decent voltage rise on a 3 hr drive so i had a look inside the noisy cupboard and checked the wiring - lo and behold , a fusable link had popped on the main battery side and further investigation revealed a chaffed cable !!

    Bingo

Total transformation . I can use the fridge on its lowest setting for several days without flattening the leisure and just a few hours driving will see the battery back up to a good level .

Point being - i now have a split charger that works as well as the rest of the van ...

  16. Yes. And there’s no need to shovel coal into your engine.
