There’s a whole lot of talk about what’s broken, dodgy or missing from our beloved buses. But how about what works fine and has never let you down? Some may think this is tempting fate, but I don’t believe in that so... Here is my engine lid catch, it has diligently remained in place and functioned upon request since day one!
The horn! Way more faff than it should be to get the horn to work off the steering wheel button on the earlier style steering column.
I changed my engine lid catch for locking one when I put the new lid on - - and it still works. Most other things seem to work OK except the heater - but in this weather that doesn't matter
The water pump button on the floor. And the clock still keeps perfect time. I THINK they were standard on 78 Moonrakers so it’s been ticking away for 40 years.
No, you’re wrong. Holes drilled with a blunt screwdriver were standard on Devons. You’re getting confused.
The bed works great except for snoring and duvet pulling and the odd elbow and leaving the slider open when it rains and if the the temperature drops below freezing you have to wear a hat so you don't get frost on your bald bonce
It all depends on if you have the double duvet ,( one under and one over ) that way you can pick your spot
