My mum bought a record player from the music shop when I was about six or seven, so my sister was allowed to pick out a record the week after for herself, she picked Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, and I thought that was fantastic and I wasn`t too sure what the `record thing' was all about and it was my turn to pick a record the very next week and I wanted the same record : Mum was trying to explain that I could have a different one and still listen to Fuzzy Wuzzy when they played it I started crying because I still wanted that one : In the end, I picked (forcibly) There was a soldier by Andy Stewart 8) So we were allowed to play our records on Saturday afternoons and we only had one each ) This went on for a couple of months with us squabbling to play our records one after the other over and over again until the fatefull day when the repro man came and whisked away the record player :-[ :'( So after that ,,,,, every Saturday we were marched up to my Auntie`s house with our paper bags with our little records clutched firmly in our hands to play them over and over again and crying on the way home because we still wanted to play them. Moved to Oz shortly after that and I can remember Buying Led Zep and the one we can`t mention now G G not sure which was first O0 Also remember a few `E Ps' extended players : Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,, Even today will be someones good old days ^-^
