I think single was Schools Out by Alice Cooper. Album was Out Of The Blue by E.L.O. Memory a bit duff though so could be wrong!
my first single was Adam and the Ants, Stand and Deliver my sister much to my amusement these days, was green door by Shakey, she hates me reminding her ;D
I claim the dubious honour of the most embarrassing first single: Morris Minor & The Majors - "Stutter Rap" - original video - '88 - HQ Bought it on 7" vinyl in Woolworths for £1.75......... My taste had improved by the time I started buying singles on CD: The Prodigy - No Good (Start The Dance)
Emerson Lake and Palmer ELP, Lucky Man in the seventies. Greg Lake used to play in one of my favourite pubs on sundays , The Six Bells at Chiddingly.
Don youre a man after my own heart "long player" I hav'nt heard that for years, nice to hear it again. nick
