the covers alone on ebay are £265 A SEAT as far as i can tell http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Westf..._Car_Interior_Accessories&hash=item338465c07c , i just don't want to spend silly money on seats let's say delilahs charge £280 on average (as quoted above) for one seat you're looking at close to £600 for 2 front seats in vinyl? then they won't match my buddy box or the rear 3/4 and matress..... before long you're at what? £1500 for an interior? nah mate stupid money i think i'm gonna have to bodge summat i want to drive it and camp in it, don't really care if people like the look of it.

Saab 900 in the "custom" van, but although easy to fit they are quite high, so stripped them to the frames, binned the runners and cut a srtip from the base and welded them back together... still a tad higher than I would like but not to bad, and now there recovered they will have to do ...

in the the other van its got Chrysler PT cruiser half leather with arm rests.... ace seats and perfect height, once you trow away the electricery adjuster and associated weighty bits for adjustment , I also removed the seat mounted seat belt reciever and the side airbag ... all to reduce the weight, very very comfy and a great fit in the van

I also nabbed a set from a 90s era talbot motorhome, funky velour fabric but perfectly flat mounting bases, easy to mount and they have headrests ... they might find themselfs being recovered and fitted i the custom van yet...

  15. Sheesh - covers are $190 per seat from BusDepot over here, so around £115 plus delivery. That's a bit cheaper!

  16. Volkswares recovered my MGF seats£200 each seat inc headrests. A good job they did too.

  17. Yep @rallybug that is where I was angling at. Could probably do then half the price if the UK cost

  18. They look like standard post '75 seats possibly from a late Devon or Westfalia judging by the headrests.

  19. I'm following this thread with interest as we definitely need new seats - the previous owner put in what can only be described as upholstered hardboard - a sliding drivers seat then a double seat welded in on the passenger side. So uncomfortable and makes driving not a very enjoyable experience. I'm currently making a list of all your recommendations!

(just had to look up what recaros are ... I'm a bit of a novice in all this!)

  20. I reckon I've got a scratch on my iphone camera lens. Just noticed it when I took that pic. Hoped it would have come out better when I posted it. Another thing needing replaced.
