Started stripping the Subaru donor car and taking photos for EBay .
Also found I have got nearly half a tank of petrol and nearly a full tank of LPG !
Is that" half full" or "half empty" of petrol ?

 

I like to smile first thing in the morning as I get up.

It gets it out the way.

I love the peacefull day and the next doors having breakfast in the garden ,birds churping ,leaves gently floating to the ground...


Until I fired up my jackhammer....

 

Nearly forgot head gasket check !




I brought the kit a while ago and only just found where i had put it so thought I would try it out. In expansion bottle and the Radiator cap
I was pretty sure it was 100% ok but it is always nice for it to be confirmed.
p.s - No good for air cooled engines ! before any comments appear.

Finished off a bathroom, repaired a toilet , serviced a boiler, fitted a room thermostat joys of being a plumber

Spent some time fabricating a bit for the wedge this morning, getting ready to weld it on and then noticed the window had dropped out of my daily into the door...... And shattered. Spent much time phoning local breakers (what a shower) and cleaning up - sourced a window but couldn't fetch it as the other half had a hospital appointment - good job it's warm today!

Of course I couldnt leave the car sat on the car park with no window so I had to sit there like a prat for half hour and pay £1.60 for the privilege even with a blue badge in a wheelchair spot!

Car is on drive with a bag on the window, bus still has chunks missing and drive looks like a scrappy again! Still, should annoy my complaining neighbours!

Nope that would have made sense, they said they couldn't explain why the premium was increasing .... i thought it might be down to the fact I'm now likely to be distracted by the endless squabbles of 3 children ;-)

Nowthen, had my staples out on Monday afternoon. Sounds like you are doing better than me though Can walk short distance on one crutch, not tried without any. Day time TV is doing my head in! So starting to try and do a few small jobs round the house and Im off to my shed to get a pair of cylinder heads that need a rebuild
