  1. 1800 out of a 412ls and a 091 box in mine, both utterly pointless and immobile.....

  2. :ttiwwp:

  3. And it seems far fewer lawn mower engines out there. Unless their owners are too embarrassed to come forth...

  4. I have a 1600 camper engine in the beetle as well thats why i brought it :)

  6. 1800 with replacement carbs, enough power for pootleing about, and will sit at 70 reasonably happily :)

The more I think about it the more I think I would like an auto too.

  15. A bit surprised no one has built a 1915ccm out of the T1 engine.

  16. Mines a rebuilt 1600 tp

Just in need of a standard exhaust and a vac advance dizzy and its back to stock spec

Can genuine german bosch dizzys still be bought?

  17. Rebuilt 1600.
Twin port. 4000 miles scince rebuild
    Mexican block
Replacing empi carb with German one in next couple of weeks. Has empi rust bucket quiet pack exhaust which I want to swap for a stock one as well.

    Stock 1600 basically!

  18. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

1600 single port. Obviously they don't go as well as T4's, but they sound better and the parts are cheaper. :)
