They're already here, East Anglia is already stuffed with Europeans who by in large already speak English, work, fit in with the culture, buy themselves a house and generally get on with it, pleased to have the opportunities and wonderous that we Brits don't dive in and have a go like they do.

  3. Think Ghandi summed it up when he said 'There's enough for every man's need, but not every man's greed" ...Income Distribution is a central tenet for all economic systems...unfortunately, if we are educated to prize consumption above all else, then our values are skewed and we are open to exploitation...

  4. Well said
One tends to forget about the flow of economic migrants within the UK, perhaps not so much now but go back three or four generations and it was quite common to find mining families, for example, moving from Cornwall to South Wales then onto the Midlands seeking work and it has to be said not always welcomed by the locals.

  5. I've left a big sign with a map and directions to your house on the landing stage at Dover, Razzyh....;)

Good move - they'll need someone to do their accounts because they are likely to be more self-sufficient than the locals.

  7. Thanks for that...our local scrotes might get upset at the thought of alleged competition arriving in Kent.

I should also say that I've spent thousands of hours learning and perfecting skills that are now completely useless. Expecting to learn a skill that will last you your working life is 20th Century.

How do you protect the insulation on the power supply below a pylon from a lightning strike ?

  14. There are a lot of 'genuine' folk already here (non immigrants) who want to work for a living but are unable to get a job due to these immigrants who willing to work for peanuts (small fortune in their money). As an example, I worked with a guy who's cousin was basically forced to leave his job in a distribution warehouse because about 80% of his shop floor co-workers were Eastern European and they refused to speak English! The same place (I suspect) was also talked about on a local radio phone in discussion when another local lad was refused a position as a stacker driver because even though he had valid licences and years of experience he couldn't speak Polish or Uzbeckastanie, or something like that. Yes, the company where technically breaking the law refusing to employ him but he was still turned down due to the fact that employing him would cause communication problems, him only being an English speaking, English born citizen of Great? Britain!!!!!

Sorry disagree completely. Care staff are there to care that's their primary role.

Making care staff some form of admin is not going to work.

Also, what are you going to do when someone turns up covered in blood, ask them to wait whist you verify their address and bank details?

This sort of campaign is instigated by people that fail to understand how it actually works on the ground, just to make them feel better and then they can move on. Christ, even when I was a kid everyone knew to get seen quicker in A&E you claimed a headache or being unable to breathe (for those incapable of deductive reasoning here, I'm not advocating this).

We'll see people making injuries worse to force being seen.

This issue is not something to be fought at hospital reception and our lazy arse government should stop washing its hands of it and dumping it there.

This is very true. You have to keep up and move with the times or you'll be left behind very quickly. I'm always the first to put my hand up for training at work. This normally means spending time away from home and driving 400 miles to and from Luton in my own time etc. but this has paid off in the long run. I've trained up on LPG, never see them now, American GM cars, never see them now. At the moment i,m working on electric cars. I'm sure that will end one day, but at least i'm making my job pay better , more secure and more interesting.

Also we have Bulgarians working as car cleaners at our garage. We find them very polite and hard working.

  19. This is a fact. Current pensioners are better off than pensioners will be in the future, so I doubt there's much appetite among the working population to pay more towards the current OAPs while being unable to afford to save for their own retirements.

  20. This is a very salient point....in real terms, anyone in their mid-forties reading this will receive approximately 20% less state pension than those currently of pensionable age, assuming they retire at 65....
Vastly over-inflated UK house prices are key to the entire problem....mortgages are pegged to salaries.....salaries are pegged to aspirations....
