If I were you I would carry a tape measure with you and check the car park entry heights .I got wedged on 2mtr clearance which wasn't .in an underground car park in france.The more you put on top the more you need to check the low ones

 

I must say that's a different approach to gaining space, personally it's not for me, I think a trailer is better suited, but everyone has a choice and now it's up to you to decide.

 

id be interested to see what extra drag it adds whilst driving at 60 on a windy road

Thinking the same as a lot of you are, i didnt think it would stand so proud to be honest, good idea i think born from the westfalia roof box, alas not the look i wanted due to the height. Back to the drawing board me thinks

 

You could cut the bottom out and a hole in your roof and have a upstairs room.

 

Seal it up then fill with water, attach a hose and shower head and charge people to use your mobile shower at shows.

 

Bolt it to a swing away wheel carrier on the rear of the bus

 

Do you wanna buy a fridge Daz, this would go on top as well

 

it would make a good sledge!

 

To be true it does look like an air-con unit of a yank motorhome.

Why give a flying fandango what it looks like - its a roof box and a brilliant solution as its dry, reasonably secure - easily accessed through the roof and should be easy to take on and off for when you dont need it.better than not being able to move for junk in the van. Trailers are a pain in the wotsits - i used to use one and hated it. Paint a mural on it of vintage roof candy so favoured by some of our brethrin and a radio flyer sticker it will become cool.

Or just put a westy sticker on it and they will all be after one instantly (filled with original german bratwurst paraphernalia)
