The roof box fits the "hole" but I must say its a little deeper than envisaged, I was more wrapped up in the X,Y dimensions and took little notice about the depth... opinions, and I can take it My wife said it looks like a marshmellow on the roof, certainly makes it stand out if it ever gets nicked
I like it. Is it something you can easily take off when not in use? If it is, do you know if they do one for a rear-hinge Westy, for the front roof of the bus?
I am probably the first to try a Fiamma motorhome roof box on a bay, and I realise probably the last lol, maybe it'll grow on me or maybe I can "doctor it" and cut the depth down, bit of sheet metal and some fibreglass. It would "theoretically" sit down some if I decide to actually fit it, but only by about 1-2"
I like it! But then I get mocked by all my mates coz every bike I have gets treated to a top box! Only question I have is how much weight will the westy rack take? I imagine that box is heavy and fully loaded.......
Hows it fix on?? take it for a buzz up the road and see if you get much wind noise. Looks ok bit lifeboat eeeee but i know why you want one its good idea to get stuff out the van and water tight. Yeh watch the low bridges ;D
soz daz don't like it. if you're short of room and you don't want the trailer, get a bigger van, T25 or T4 long wheelbase
Being honest im afraid i dont like it I thought we carried the most when we go camping but you have a trailor and a top box now. Your one step ahead of us now!! ;D ;D
