    so sad - Mabel (who I am named after) had the same cancer. Its been three years now - i sat outside the vets and blubbed like a baby for an hour until someone could get to me and drive me home

    Sorry to here your sad news today zeb, they are such good friends :( lost my three springers all at 13 too , not the best number in the world :( Some great memories though bud ,take care barney n betty .

    She looked a lovely dog Zebedee - its sad to hear she's been put down but in the light of her battle with the cancer, you made the right call for her!

    As long as she had a stone or rock to play with she was happy. It was useless taking her up the fells as she just wanted to dismantle the cairns.:rolleyes:
