  1. Haha. I really hope it is the final countdown! Or the final campdown.

  2. December!! Not long now!!! :)

  3. Thanks for replies. I'm insuring through admiral so will call them again and see if they can insure before mot. If not I might try Peter James, or risk it!

do admiral know the true value of one of these vehicles? i'm sure you'd be better with classic insurance from a company which specialises in our vehicles, example i am with cherished £132 a year £15k agreed value 3000 miles a year.

  5. As rick said I'd go through a classic specialist. I bought a copy of camper and bus and went through it phoning them all. I'm with sureterm direct 3000 miles agreed value £114 a year.

  6. Good point. Will look at classic insurance on Monday instead. Just went for admiral as I'm with them anyway, but will look elsewhere.

  7. heritage, 3k annual mileage, agreed valuation of 25k, premium 115 quid. Ring them ask for Oliver Saunt, tell him its a reccommentation from the late bay. He was the most competitive by a mile

  9. Cheers Z4, will will ring them in the morning.

So... today's the day of the ETA, but it's a Sunday. So I'm pretty sure there'll be no phonecall to say it's arrived. Maybe tomorrow!

  13. Very exciting!! Whereabouts in Derbyshire is it going? I want to go and take a sneaky peak at it!!

  14. It's going to California Connection near Ashbourne until my transporter man can bring it down to Devon for me. I don't have a clue where it is now though!

  15. Spoken to Miranda at CC today - she thinks the camper has landed and is clearing customs and thinks it may be arriving in Derbyshire later this week... We're into week 12 now and it looks like we could be going to 13 weeks... Great news it might of landed but I just wish I knew for definite, and had a definite date! I'm going mad!!!

look on the bright side, you should get it for xmas - what a great prezzie, i thought 8 weeks was a lifetime, are you sure it didn't come on a sailing ship?

  17. Cheers Rick. Still hoping to be able to drive it back to Stafford for Christmas. None of my family know I'm getting it so the plan is to surprise everyone when I pull onto the drive in it!

I don't know how it got here, maybe Royal Mail.

  18. Good to hear it's landed
