Yes, and both the 122 and the 126A are magnesium and not worth searching for IMO. The 127 are aluminium although I have seen reports that some may be magnesium, the aluminium ones are a good base.

He's always been a sporadic poster.
Leaving his wanted threads vague looked deliberate to me in order to open up the request to the widest range of possibilities, he's knows both are long shots. Same for not rushing back - as it happens, if he'd come back before the threads developed all he'd have seen is you poking him with a stick.
Maybe you know something you're not saying.

As far as I can tell his last visit was when he posted the wanted ads and he’s not a new poster
He’s stated he’s disabled and is autistic so I’d imagine that will have an effect on his posting and we don’t know what’s happening in his daily life.

It’s not a for sale thread so as far as I can tell he has posted within the forum rules

Unless he’s messaging people with dodgy email addys saying his brother,cousin etc has parts people are after
Then just chill for a bit I’m sure oldvolksguy will reply when he’s back on the forum

Now I know that presumption is the mother of all ***** ups

But it’s not a big leap that he wants the workshop for himself.

 

Strangely that didn't occur to me. Sounded more like he was wanting to set something up for others. My own ASSumption was if for himself he'd have stated a locality.
We could both be right.

 

That’s how I read it too and it seemed to me that he was going through the motions but wasn’t expecting an answer. It is too vague to be a serious request.

To be honest, if I was the OP, and I came back to find my thread like this, I would probably mutter “oh ffs” and go and do something else

I seem to remember those engines popping up on eBay, more than one and ending up around £3500 for the final ones. Somewhere in the last 14 years...
