VolksWorld Show - Sandown Park - 24-25 March 2012

We will be there Pinstriping all weekend.......I have six skatedecks to stripe and give away each day by FREE raffle

[about every hour and a half]......so make sure you find us in the Sports Bar I think?......and get a ticket

 

I know they've a job to predict the weather for tomorrow but this is for the Volksworld weekend thus far

hi all,

sorry for potentially a stupid question but we got sent silver and yellow wristbands but no vehicle pass.

is the yellow armbands the camping ones and has everyone else received their vehicle pass ?

yep, vehicle camping pass is a 4" round sticker with a number written on back,
gold wrist bands are your passes into the camping field, but not a pass for your vehicle.
silver are passes into show.

Hi marowak , we are travelling down fri after work. Should get there about 8. If we head the area u indicated earlier in the thread, will he tlb area be easy to spot?

Any other way of getting in touch with fellow tlb'ers, as it's our first time so dont know any faces yet.

We have tlb named hoodies tho, if that helps ?

where are we planning on group camping this year? same area by the toilets?

 

I think group camping sounds great. Mark and Alison have my details.

What time are people getting there roughly?? I was planning on taking a half day so be there for about 1ish. Info believe the gates open at 12.

 

Gates open at 12 officially but the campsite lets people in real early normally.

I will be getting there for 2ish.

 

are we gonna go for the same area as last time - remember we will need route access in and out for those displaying on sat and sunday

Hi Jen - there were a few changes in the line ups - but think everyone is on top of it ...

I emailed Tory about the passes and said you have them all so I'll just get them off you on Friday eve

 

This will be our first major show too, hoping to get there around 2 ish may be earlier as we both have booked day off work, really looking forward to meeting you all, if anyone is there before us and sees a green and white dormobile coming on with colour coded trailer give us wave so we know where you are. If we're first we will try and head for spot marked out by Marowak on his little map earlier in post and keep an eye open for people coming on but wont be easy as dont know many vans or faces yet.

nipper finished school at 3ish, so gonna get his dinner, bath etc sorted (hes 4), we wont get away till late, maybe get there about 8/9pm fri night,can someone save me a space as im doing the linup sat morning, can i have someones number in case i cant find TLB camp
