void under cab seats - what they for?

mine house - oil. emergency jackets, 12v charging leads, jack, and mini first aid kits

 

The rubber mats as pictured are in two pieces overlapping at the door side of the cubby hole so you can get in. This is original VW spec. BUT if you keep using it, you'll tear it - it's meant for the jack, not a regular use cupboard.

 

Have a look in Henry - There's probably a spare in there under the junk.

 

well im go to cut mine out this year, thought they was a waste of space im going to cut the sides out, make up a frame then cover it right up with alloy box with lid, so it becomes a semi walk through, so ive then got loads more space to put my propex heater & vents. Pics when i finish doing my new workshop then i can get on with doing more stuff to the dub. Ohhhhhh >
