@Merlin Cat I think you should buy it for spares for yours.

Just less than £4000, plus a bung to the fixer, isn't that much in terms of spare parts if you plan on keeping yours for along time!

It's worth that for the carpet alone.

You could swap the interior into yours and keep any bits that are better than on your current one and then sell the rest..........

or bring them both to techenders and ask someone in the know what you should do!

I suppose I forgot the cost of shipping it to the UK, but if you get a fnal price you will be able to work out if it is worth doing.

I have no idea if your van needs or will need any bits in the future, or the potential cost of the bits.

You could ask someone like @davidoft who has seen your van and may know what it may need in the future

 

It will cost you around £6000 all in to the UK, even if you stripped all the best of the interior and sold it on I think you would get most if not all of that back, if you have your heart set on a landmark buy it , I buy everything I see when I need something, it's always worth what I paid or even more sometimes

 

I'm suggesting @Merlin Cat buys it for spares and the interior. You have seen her bus, can you think of any bits she may need from the 'donor' in the future?

 

She needs most if not all the interior, I would, it's really just the interior and paint that make it a landmark, the paint she can't swap, but could pick the best bits to keep for hers and sell the remainder as an incomplete bus, I think the it would cost close to nothing for all the bits missing from hers
