  1. Smell of fuel lingering inside bus and if you sniff down vents, cant see any leaks near injectors, what shall i do, book it in to a camper garage for investigation????

  2. is it when you have filled it up with fuel? I only ask as mine stinks when I've put too much in, then wares off. Probably best to get it checked though asap i should think just to be on the safe side.

  3. Probably the tank vents

  4. could well be the filler neck hose starting to break down...

    engine out job...

  5. in my opinion , check it out yourself, what is condition of vehicles fuel system ? since u got it ? do you think perhaps, lines /pipes may be "done"?i.e. need replacing ? check yourself 1st , then go to garage , might save u some dosh !

you say injectors, have you got a type 4 motor, there are lots of pipes and hoses on this motor, have a look on www.type2.com and look in the Library section, there is a full breakdown on hoses, lengths etc etc

  7. It's often the rubber pipes on the tank vetilation system, particularly the one up behind the spare wheel well which gets ignored/forgotten about.
