No I was wrong on that one  but Baysearchers wrong on everythink else ;) oh and i've got a spare one for sale if you want it

  5. I got one of the JK plastic under dash trays and wasn't very impressed with it to be honest. Plastic is cheap looking and flimsy, was a right ffaff to fit and isnt very stable when putting anything more substantial than a feather in or on it. Cup holders aren't deep enough to be useful in transit either. Anthing you put in them just topples over. Ended up with a cup of coffee on my lap! Was expecting more for the price!

    Double that.

And they only look good in panel vans. Builders needed more space for yesterday's paper.

  13. under the dash ay :D

  14. I agree with all the sentiments, got ours for 20 quid on fleabay, it is good for putting phones, wallets and loose change but the cup holders are a waste of time, mine holds a few screws. I reckon it's ok at 20 quid but the price new is having a laugh, the plastic is poor quality and doesn't match the rest of the dash.

  15. no good for my wallet then lol

  16. Quite like them in my van.

    Handy to chuck bits on.

  17. I've never had any problems with the cup holders. Holds cans and cups of tea just fine, and on the move too.

And yes, they're flimsy, but you don't want anything too substantial there - because it will be coming through your knees if you have a front end collision.

+1 with baybirmingham about the collision issue. The first ones I made were from 1/4 birch ply and as I started to fit them I suddenly realised that I was bolting in a potential guillotine for our knees. I chucked those and made another set from much thinner MDF with a delicate MDF frame, they should break before our legs, but hopefully I'll never need to put that to the test.
