  1. I know . . . he.s annoyed me quite a bit by is lack of communication . . i want to buy them and surely he'd like to sell them but im not buying until i can find nuts and until i get dimensions i cant order any . . I wouldnt mind so much but its likely to cost me £5 per nut and flat face washer plus extended studs as it is x that by 22 because i need two for the spare wheel carrier its not like its going to be a cheep venture . . plus the tyres will need changing due to rubber hardening . . and of course the time to get them up and polished . . all for the sake of texting me a size
    rant over grrrrrrrrr

Why can't they be used with standard alloy wheel nuts and studs? Why do they need sleeves?

  5. If they had indeed been fitted to a new bay ,I can't see they wound have changed the studs and sourced different nuts etc .so my guess would be they'd fit ....saying that would they have that much corrosion for dry storage ?
Not really my taste but good luck and something different

  9. Early alloys had sleeved bolts / nuts and centering washers I'm not sure why but I think it's to do with the over sized holes where the studs/ bolts go through - I've seen a copy of the brochure and originally they would have been supplied with the correct nuts & washers

  10. Personally I think they would look nice polished with a yellow centre on Carols bus but hay ho I'm guessing he doesn't really want to sell them if he can't be bothered to give me a couple measurements

He's not signed in since the end of October. Have you sent him a PM ?

  12. No I've given up on him messaged him loads of times on eBay - all he had to do was send the stud hole diameter and I'd have sourced the nuts and bought them off him - I will look for something different now - just thought they looked nice and different and would have been nice to fit them to carols Devon as that was what they were originally made for
    Never mind

Problem is these nuts are very rare I didn't want to get stuck with them if they can't be fitted - someone on here was quoted £450!!! to turn some up
I like them but not that much - a very helpful guy in London said he may have enough in his stores if he knows the size he would have looked for me in old stock
