type 4 J pipes

I have been looking at getting the vintage speed type manifolds as my heat exchangers are not connected.
Are they worth the expense and do they offer any gains? Or should I just forget them?

bloody expensive ...especially equal length ones

 

I must admit the price did make me cough but if they made a difference then I would be keen to give them ago.

Looks like I may just be sticking as I am as I won't go all out if there is no one singing their Praises.

 

They're not really necessary on stock motors... TBR still got nearly 130bhp on the 2056 that I built for him, and that's running stock HXs and a VS muffler

 

I found a guy in the states that makes them for $150 a pair, They are not stainless but they are coated. I will search for his details again.
