Type 4 Engine Rebuild

  1. I have been found in the garage working away at 2-3 in the morning before :lol:


    That is normally when it's down to the wire before an MOT though :lol:


    the yellow one was a 2056... reworked the heads for big valves.. was putting out around 100bhp at the wheels

  5. I wanted to get the shape perfect after that it was 180 grit used on a horizontal pattern to the air path to create turbulance

    It looked awfull after all that work but i knew it would peform better for it

    I wont tell you how fine a polish i went down to on the combustion chambers and exhaust ports though

    I was paranoid about carbon hot spots building up when running higher boost than normal
     
  6. looks like you finished off with g10 rubbing compound and than some carnuba wax just to add that extra bling ;D
