When I was a kid I liked the idea of running something like this from the tiny steam engine ornament my mother had in the sitting room.
You could take it to a country fair and set it running behind your Austin Maestro while you sit drinking tea on a deck chair.
Ah - loved my Mamod steam engine - got burnt so often I became immune to minor scalds and also discovered that meths burns with an invisible flame on your skin.
Never had one but always wanted one. Used to look at them though the model shop window in the 70s. Half tempted to get one now. Loads on eBay . Fancy a steam lorry.
I still have a steam traction engine and a steam car in the loft - bought them when my son was 12 - he is now 43 !!
Does it come with a couple of loaves as getting a bit low after breakfast and do not fancy queuing up at Tesco's for a hour and having to make polite conversion with people.
