You've never struck me as lacking in confidence. Have the courage to step up and post them! If itwas worth the time writing it...... Its good for the soul. Its interesting sometimes that people take their own inference from what you write. Possibly that's about the way its written but hey, its not a book and no one is proof reading and we all make mistakes but often its their perception of you that colours their interpretation of what's written. I tend to write more words than are necessary as I try not to be blunt and rude to people (try). Also its easy to come across as serious when your taking the pee or trying to be ironic. there are lots of little chats that go on in the background to the main discusions. Always useful to bear in mind! People that know you .. tend to know where your coming from (have I written enough yet)
My crew is my 30 year old no.2 son who has no income and "problems" fitting into society. Bit like me! I like women but I wouldn't want a whole one. Too old for the shenanigans, it's not worth the effort.
Mine simply did not listen at all, she just waited until I'd finished speaking and carried on. I've posted before that I tested this by saying ridiculous things like "I bought a badger today" or "I was space walking earlier today and bumped into a Martian". Not even a twitch, no recognition of the words whatsoever, just waited for a pause then carried on. Seriously, I'm not joking.
I find Tw(a)tter useful for news items ironically. Many events are not covered by MSM but are Twetted out often accompanied by video footage by people "on the ground" as it were. If you ignore the inane comments it can be a good source of real info.
Twitter is defintley the more political of the SMs. It's good for getting news quickly, though as with all information it shoud be checked. Sadly, there seems to be a regular tweeting of the death of a well known person that ends up being false. It has pros and cons whe it comes to getting a petition or mass action moving - Trump was a good example of how dangerous SM/Twitter can be for collecting followers. I find it good to follow some users that have the opposite opinion of yourself so that you can see what the other side is saying and not be sheltered in an echo chamber of agreement and nodding tweets.
Twitter is handy for getting news before the MSM distort it to their agenda of choice. Only this morning, I found Sue Grays report on the partygate scandal. (Redacted)
My lad uses Twitter for business information. Makes a lot of worldwide contacts.. I suppose you have to be selective in your channel choices...
