Hi there , simple one , currently have twin carbs on a more or less stock engine and need to remove them for something i need to do , want to replace the old solex system for a bit so i can atleast still run the bus about . now do i need to remove the engine yet again to re-install the old solex and manifold ? i know i can get the twins out without removeing the engine just wondered if its possible with the stock setup , type1 enigne with dynamo thanks
be quicker to take the engine out.... another option is to loosen off the fanshroud and pull out the dynamo stand... but it's often quicker to drop the engine!!
