Lost - why I am here - episode Tricia Tanaka is Dead. No dead people or drinkable 30 year old beer cans in our bus though... Started 24 once but got fed up with his stupid daughter doing blonde stuff while daddy saves the usa.
generation kill not bad but not as good as band of brothers or pacific sons of anerchy sopranoes just when you thought you had got out they pull you back in again
Tragic story, poor sod eventually got a job as captain on the Titanic, made a miraculous escape but eventually got himself killed in battle after getting the job as King of Rohan. I thought they just made trousers? Must be a very competitive business that!
The Wire. Watch The Wire. It's arguably the best television series ever made. Ever. Watch it or I'll get the big font out again.
Breaking Bad 24 The Blacklist Elementary Under the Dome Episodes Homeland The Leftovers (although that's only just started so there's only a few episodes) For Scandinavian stuff, Wallander, The Bridge, Borgen, and also there was a Belgian drama Salamander that was also excellent. In The Flesh has been very good. Currently watching Orange is the new Black. There's a load of other stuff I've probably forgotten. We don't watch "normal" TV anymore, just pick and choose the stuff we like and watch on demand. I don't think I could name a single Saturday night "prime time" TV show on ITV or BBC.
Looking past The Wire, I'd recommend The Sopranos as a no-brainer when it comes to world-class telly. My missus and I watched it weekly on Sky Atlantic, as they constantly repeat it from episode one. It took 18 months to get through, but was our little treat for Thursdays and we're both now really missing it. Beautifully crafted TV. Also (if you have Sky) The Tunnel was excellent - it's the English/French remake of The Bridge. Baordwalk Empire is worth a go, though the most recent series left me a bit cold and I never got through it. If you want comedy, the first five series of Scrubs, first series of My Name is Earl and all eleven series of Frasier. Channel 4 show two Frasiers a day from 9am. Well worth a series link. And if you like the recent Marvel movies then Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is very entertaining.
