Having spent the last 7 months working our way through the entire 11 seasons of MASH we're sadly on to our last DVD. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and it's highly recommended Have you got any favourites you'd recommend?
Been mentioned already but... Band of Brothers is outstanding, Pacific is really good, Homeland is ace and recently getting stuck into the first series of 24.
24 loads of people are raving on about game of thrones, i am now on series1 episode 2 so a long way to go
lots of blood, snot and boobies so all good so far seriously though, its early days but i have enjoyed it so far. sean bean is good in it.
As said above 24 is brilliant, game of thrones is like nothing else I've watched, band of brothers is excellently written and acted as is homeland which share the same main actor. The bridge is also spot on but has subtitles as it's a Scandinavian production. You can't really fault any of these.
Red Dwarf is another long standing favourite in our house, my wifes youngest is the dead spit of Arnold Rimmer. On that subject we got tickets so see Billy Connoly in Blackpool a few years ago and booked us all into a Premier Inn, the missus and I under our names and him and his under the name "Ace Rimmer". The receptionist quietly booked us in when we arrived, no mention of anything, we thought to save his reddening face. As we walked off to our rooms we heard her say "What a guy!" which caused complete hysteria You'd need to be a fan but it was hilarious at the time
Watched and enjoyed Band of Brothers 3 years ago whilst "resting" after surgery. By coincidence I have started watching Pacific about an hour ago. Game of Thrones is either a love it or hate it. I love it. Can't wait for season five. Am currently on season 4 of Bones. So a long way to go on that one.
