yep if you look a 90% they are that way , mine are too , you can see more of a vehicle coming from behind you if you have it tilted right too , imo
the "new" beetle actually has one mirror bigger than the other which looks odd once you notice, i'm after one of those little mirrors to accompany the offside one as i have a blindspotbeing lhd, @Top Banana Racing where did you get yours? as for the truck mirrors i didn't realise they were an option @oscar thanks for that...... they still look gash though - sorry bern.
True, but Haynes didn't make VW's. BTW I agree they work better landscape, but also agree with TBR that you look like a tit. I find that by using my mirrors all the time so I'm constantly aware of the traffic coming up from behind (not just 2 seconds before I want to change lanes) the blind spot isn't a problem. :smartarse:
I quite like the look of the @bernjb56 & @JennyB new pick up with the truck mirrors. Normally I'd say they are an abomination but not in this case
If it's a question of aesthetics, I'm going to have to take your word on that one, I personally can't see the tittishness of having them that way around, so it must be another thing that passes me by It seemed logical to me that they be that way because every other car I've ever owned has had mirrors oriented that way round. I don't need to see lots of the sky, I do need to see more of the traffic behind me.
hell hello bern thankyou very much appreciated H Hello bern thankyou vey much for the pictures very helpful I do like these mirrors but im not sure I would want to drill holes in my doors there not expensive so I may buy a set and see if theres another way to fit them ps you have a sweet sweeeet sweeeet ride glad you made it back home in one piece
