@kev - here you go... I've been playing with these this morning. Obviously a bit harsh on the door - 2 hinged brackets bolted through above and below the window. The mirror slides on to these and all clamps together after adjustment. I could only see the road surface yesterday, now pointed in the right direction . Not sure that I could bring myself to make the holes if they weren't there
Funnily enough, I've been thinking about doing the same thing...which buses had this type of mirror as standard? (could google it but being lazy)
Seen quite a few buses with them (particularly Aussie an US) so just presumed that some models had these as stock... models as is 'De Luxe' etc. Guess they never did a Type 2 "Roughty-toughty looking" model Which does it for me, as far as buses are concerned. My taste in lady models is far more refined I'd like one of these, and a salary to fund it
Never been a fan on campers but I think they look pretty good on the commercial stuff. Not taking them off anyway because I'd have 4 holes to fill
Let me know the sizes. I suspect M8x25? I have both Allen and Hex. Are you going to Dubfreeze, I could bring them with.
