anyone can win when they have a crash ,in the old days Ullrich was racing with Armstrong for the title ,Ullrich fell off and Armstrong waited for him ,but he did have a pocket of drugs...

 

They had another crash today ,including a policeman on his motorbike ,he tried to go off road...

I remember the answer a Tour rider gave when asked what it was to come off a bike at those speeds.He said if you wanted to know what it was like leap out of a moving car doing 60kph wearing only your underpants!One of my favourite clips is when Nelson the Labrador ambles across the road and takes out two riders.Phil Liggett the commentator said he couldn't believe how many people contacted him asking about the dog.

I've watched as much of the first five stages as a 5 yr old will let me. Its still a fantastic spectacle, with or without the drugs ( the riders, not me)

 

Funnily enough my 5yr old was quite happy watching the highlights the other evening, especially as they kept showing pictures of the crash.

 

I have crashed into a dog last week ,straight over the handlebars down a hill....

Dopey dog was chasing a rabbit....

Oh man, get with the programme Don! Don't ya know they're all clean as whistles these days . Another fascinating stage again today, Froome still in Yellow, stage win for another Brit, Steve Cummings. Still think these guys are superhuman to do what they do!
