Today is also Guess The Christmas Bin Collection Day

Guess what - it was today and I missed it.

Social media fills your life with pointless $hit but can't tell you that your bins are to be collected at 7am on a Saturday for the first time in living history.

I don't want to know if a Z list celebrity has a tendency to hit people with bedside lamps, I JUST WANT MY BINS EMPTIED AT A RATIONAL TIME, ON A RATIONAL DAY.

I just look down the street and see what everybody else is doing. Ie blue or clear bags etc.
The bloke opposite me gets it right everytime....

 

We have a chart, printed and laminated, and on the notice board in the kitchen. Oh the joys of having an organised wife

 

That usually works for us, but there were only a handful out last night, of both colours. Next door put both out - what kind of message is that - the wxxxxr.

With the cost of our council tax they should provide a sedan chair to take my bin to the tip.

 

Rotherham Council provide a sheet for the full year....it's on the inside of the cupboard door with emergency contact numbers.
Got proper old recently, but I like to call it organised.

As long as you get up early enuff round here you can here them coming bashing and banging ,long before they arrive . I have an app it’s called Betty it’s one of her most favourite jobs putting the bins out

 

There's only a handful of taxi drivers in Rotherham, well that's not quite correct, there are lots of taxi drivers but not half as many licenses. The asians use the phrase "they all look the same" to their advantage.

 

I suppose I now have a reason to take the van out, even if its only to Smokey Mountain tip.

 

We just have a big hole dug and when it's full it gets covered over and another hole is dug.
