Thought I’d picked up a ‘barn find’

I know of one like that ,its been sat in someone's front garden for at least ten years ,I've posted pics before,and it still sits there looking very settled

 

I only say a month because he has His bus and bug to finish first.

 

If I come home with another one my miss will kill me..but that's how I found my bus it had been sat at the back of the scrap yard for 23 years and the tree had grown through it plus every thing is there on that one

 

I know where there is one just like it just off the Breacon canal in Wales.

Was wondering the same. Should pay someone to take it away really. What a shame to see a once beautiful bus reduced to that . Depends I guess on what, if anything, is salvageable.

Light fittings window glass engine , suspension components. Door handles mirrors steering wheel steering box ....

If they gave it to you you would definitely get the cost of trailer hire back.

Mmmm yes unusual way of selling items! Advertise,ignore messages then throw a silly number in the mix and claim rareity/scarceity! Not for me im out

Not been in the air cooled scene for long and appreciate people have got to put food on the table but not to the detriment of naive people prepared to pay what someone asks! Had dealings with @flybysplit on vzi and was a pleasure to deal with,with a miriad of parts. Also heard @davidoft is the man on here but no direct dealings!

 

Just my tupence worth though and what do i know
