There were over 100 messages posted to the estate "Coronavirus support" WhatsApp group today. I have it on mute for the next year. They are talking about a street party when we all get out. I fear that I'm never going to get away with just a nod and a mumbled good morning again - they are probably going to want to engage in conversation. One of the main activities at the moment seems to be digging out old toys and giving them to neighbours kids. While that's a lovely sentiment at any other time, I just hope that nobody passes on the virus through their "kind" actions. Plastic is one of the best surfaces for preserving the virus... I've lived in the same house for 18 years. I think that if I wanted to talk to the neighbours I would have done so by now. Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon
