Having looked at this social distancing thing it would appear that due to the fact that I am a carrot cruncher the only difference it has made to my life is i cant go to the pub in the village on a Thursday and Sunday night. If I walk out of the house with the dogs I couldnt get 2 meters from anyone if I tried!!
I think we'll be ok for a week or so. Saw the landlady of our local pub sitting in the sun so asked if we could help by buying any surplus stock off her. Got several bottles of spirits, two cartons of crisps and 36 pints of Old Rosie!
Well played... I had to deliver pet food to a pub...she said how do I pay for it.when I said you could pay with bottles of spirits she laughed but said she was keeping them for herself..I should of told her to shove her pet food but couldn't do that to her dog..
If you can afford it and say you normally have a hair cut every other week, send your barber the price of a hair cut. etc etc. If you value something, try and keep it alive. That sounds pukey faceache, but ?
I'm working from home. With the drone of all the mowers and jet washers it feels like I'm doing Sunday overtime every day of the week
Things have ramped down noticeably today as indeed they had yesterday, but today is another level. It was so quiet that I didn't wake up until 10am. Normally I'm up at 6-7am. Spooky.
We are going to pay our hairdresser for appointment made and half what we normally get charged for our monthly visits to help her out . My daughter being a que and cut barbers they have had to shut , so far with sfa . I told her just pull your horns in and you will get by , we’ve been thru nil work recessions , massive interest rate rises , Black this and black that , it’s called managing your purse . I still do it now but like you I cashed my chips in a while back to try and make the most of life while I can . My sons a builder carpenter working for the big boys , he employs 4 lads ,they were sent hom yesterday ,so it’s happening in the building trade too . He works for the big boys too , just waiting to see if his bill gets paid for last month now ? I fear a big lack of everything needed if they stop everyone working and mat erials etc just won’t be there where they are allowed back some or many being made bankrupt . Where are the government going to get all this money they are giving out one wonders ! The whole world is going to be in one big mess . Why because they didn’t shut there borders early enuff and put everyone on rations straight away fa starters . Sorry was ment to be a one liner. Stay safe everyone and ya health is always worth a lot more than money and toys . I am talking from previous not just an I’m alright jack position too . Sell your debt makers and generate some wealth in other ways you might not have tried ? put a few pepper, chillie and other seeds from stuff you eat in an old plastic container or cut in half bottle and if you havnt got a garden stick it on your window sill and use water your already saving . Oh well I’ve tried to help , not you zed ,your passed it bye . Just a foot note ,some poor girl who is pregnant has got it in our town , how is she going to cope poor kid .

Betty is doing on line Pilates upstairs tonight , god it was sooo much quieter when she went too her Pilates teachers place. What I don’t understand is where she finds sumink different to teach them every week for five years
