Blimey!! I paid £85 for a complete set fully lined and included tie backs but they weren't needed in my Moonraker as it has them fitted. Theres loads of places on the web to choose from. I know what you mean about supporting local businesses but they don't support themselves by charging that amount..
I agree @Lardy try to give business to a local company & they take the p***. We find that here a lot of the time, then they wonder why you go to the interwebs & order from somewhere else.
The tie backs. Yes. But they match my stripy curtains. The tie backs seen here are attached to the van walls and are leatherette. The spare ones are the same material as the curtains
That's a pretty gob smacking price, however.......................have you got your measurements correct? I only ask as there is a 1" tape mentioned which leads me to think the measurements are in Imperial. If so the measurements are for pretty large sizes.........81" curtain is over 7 foot wide and two of them! I know that many upholsterers and haberdashers still use Imperial, so it may be worth double checking........just a thought?
not looked too closely at the measurements quoted but front cab curtains range from 72" - 78" each to allow for curvature of front rail and drape.
@Lardy top tip - don't let someone familiar with house curtains tell you to get twice the material to make them "fuller". It's a car and you need to be able to draw them back far enough to drive.
Why don't you buy one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Janome-2200...id=1381566973&sr=8-10&keywords=sewing machine
Thanks but mum and girlfriends mum both have machines. It's more the dimensions I need to clarify now?
@Lardy, I added up the widths of all your curtains and you have 54ft total width. Call me scrooge, but that's a lot of curtain to loose somewhere. I think you might be wise to work it out again before you get more quotes? A bus is approx 5ft wide and say 12ft long, that's 34 ft, what are you going to do with the extra 20 ft?
