If the guy is innocent, which he claims to be, he ought to be suing them for a couple of quid (bearing in mind plod is skint too)

    "If" hes innocent?

He was just an old boy walking to the pub.

There's no question over his innocence.

  5. How on earth do you mistake a man of 61 with mobility issues and a white cane with a samuri sword welding drunk on the rampage? ::)

it was Chorley, what can say? ;D

In my opinion, the IPCC have to play this one very carefully.
In recent weeks there have been proven cases of ass covering and theft within the police force that to many (me included) are looking more and more like institutionalised corruption. Hillsboro is a good example.
I'm sure there must be good as well as the bad within the force but it does seem to be nose diving at the moment.

the only 'defence' is he isn't fully blind and he had a very short fold up stick not the long one we associate as a blind mans stick, that said it's still police heavy handed crap in my opinion

^^^ If recent cases are to be believed, the copper in question may well try to use that as his defence. The sad side of it is that the IPCC are likely to believe him.

  14. I agree its a disgrace ,was just saying thats why he was tazored.
If in America they thought he had a sword (as the policeman must of to have used his tazer) and was refusing to stop would they be within their rights to shoot ?

  15. Good job they arnt allowed truncheons i say, give um an inch n all that. :(

  16. Why do people in this country refer to the police as The Feds? I understand why people call them a lot of other things mainly due to the fact they dont like them but this moniker has always puzzled me.
