The end of the season

Money, cold, having two young kids, things to do on the van, (inc fit propex which I've had since December) its all part of the 'excuse'

Have book my ferry for france next August already

 

Brighton Breeze normally sees the end of our season. If we SORN, it'll be the end of October, so there is always the possibility of some more short trips in the van before then.

However I do have a long list of jobs, some important, some more cosmetic, that need doing on the van this winter. My project box is overflowing.

 

I tend to do just weekends in the Winter , just make sure your near a nice pub and you have hookup
However vans going on at the start of October till December this year

Techenders is my last one this year. Then I'm dropping the engine out and having a good tidy up in the engine bay. Can't wait.

 

We camped at both dubfreezes last winter, Don't know if I'm going this year though, Didn't think they were that good this year!

 

until it gets too cold - no propex in kitty, but do have a mini gas fire for the awning.

 

I wonder how many people have got vans and are yet to camp this year.... @Lardy

 

carry on thinking about going away for Christmas did this a few years ago and it was great

 

Try taking a bottle of Laphroaig and a bag of green

 

Hopefully just gonna 'carry on camping' this winter.Have to take care not to go out in hi winds.

 

Busfest likely to be the last camping trip. Then picnics / dog walking until the road salt arrives!

 

Maybe not next winter since we're moving to The Snowy Mountains

Are first camp of the year has been 6th of Jan but not sure how late we've camped but I do know ice on the inside makes the morning fresh.

 

We slept in the van on New Years Eve so I'm not sure what that counts as
