Here in Weld County dayglo green/yellow is the 'new' black.my daughter wear dayglo all the time,so she might fit in over there

Every French builder wears one ,we put the jacket things over the seats so the police don`t bother to ask ,I hope they assume I have all the other garbage... C

 

i've got a vest one that i wear when riding my bike, a yellow coat one for work and an o r a n g e one i wear if i'm going to see trains.

 

it could be worse is eddie stobart has pink hi viz

 

I wore a massive mans one all weekend at camperjam, people kept asking me where they should be parked... It was brill kept me dry when i was setting up and it was leatherin it down... Nice and snug too x

 

Our apprentice has to wear one at college along with a hard hat whist doing practical in bench Joinery. Makes no sense but its because one of the governer's is the owner of a big construction site and say's they need them to get used to wearing them!! Even though he'll never go on a site with me!!

Jobs worth comes to mind, if they ain't used to wearing it the 4 days there at work whats one day going to do!

 

delivering to a building site , i was refused entry cos i didn"t have a high viz,(this was in the 90"s ,)assume, like so much nowadays it"s insurance(claims)lead?

 

in the fire service and you have an accident and you aren't wearing your full ppe your compensation is lessened. for example if you cut your finger off but dont have your safety specs on your claim is reduced
