    I think polly Styrene had it right we are turning dayglo under hi vis vests, i have three for work Lou has two for work and a hi vis overcoat .

    Do you have one ?

  3. Yep, can't venture out into the lorry compound without one on & some sites we visit require full PPE or we don't get on!

    I've got them for running in - lightweight bibs. Must admit, I don't have a coat :(
     
  5. yep, I've got one. Its really handy for tying to to stuff that over hangs the back of the van :thumbsup:

    I knew someone would write that about the French , the French have always been at the forefront of daft garb and wacky laws.

    We just have stc boots, glasses, gloves and Ive got a hardhat for me forklift truck :)

    And as for the High visibility vest that's a different story ;)

  12. here every vehicle is required to have one in the car, and not in the boot, it has to be within reach of the driver, so its not just France.

    Full set hear Gill spends a lot of time in quarry's so has the nice day glow trousers , t shirt and matching water proofs

    If you don't wear one and have accident i guess they could say you disqualfied yourself from claiming ??

  20. i work for sainsburys in a warehouse i have to ware them at all times even thought i work in an office.


    high vizz bibs are all well and good but they tend to become the norm and you dont see um this mucks up the premis that it make people easier to see i have managers that think that having on you high vizz on is like having a shield of steel
