Annoyingly, mine sits nose up until FB driver gets in!

  2. I'll try and find a pic of the ones I made, which I think were similar to the originals. A complete sheet on the outside, with a smaller "flappy" bit at the bottom that tucks inside the door pressing, behind the air vent.

  3. If you park facing uphill, your doors will fill up with rainwater!

If you can find a single sided membrane, I expect it would do some strange things to you and your bus.

The door does have a drain channel inside that supposedly catches the water off the glass and feeds it forwards (yes always park buses nose down or the door will empty under your seat.)

I always reverse on to small levelling chocks…seems to solve the drain off problem, would be a pain if it was used daily but otherwise ok

Hit the back end with a raising stick. Not stock but if it keeps your NLA doors healthier its worth considering.

I always park nose down in the car park for this reason.

Sometimes this happens after the pub, without the bus.

Had an annoying squeal from the engine at idle, like it was the tinware rubbing on the pulley.
This morning noticed a trail of something on the tinware that started under the intake manifold. Wasnt oil but dirty petrol.
Then I noticed the left hand manifold boot had slipped almost off the casting. So that at idle it would let a bit of air in and squeal but at lower manifold vacuum it seemed to stop making the noise, but air was still leaking in - the AFR meter was bouncing around like crazy at part throttle but settling a bit lean at idle and normal at wide open throttle. Cylinder head temperatures were a bit warmer than usual but still in normal range..

Undid the clamps, slid it sideways, squeal gone AFR seems more stable. (I am also getting used to the behavior of a new DIYEFI controller with a new sensor - it responds faster than the PLX controller.)

Went to change the handbrake cable brake pads etc and find out why the brake wasn’t working so well on that side.

new backing plate needed I think especially as the cable mount has partially separated

I did get the hub nut off though so being fat git has its advantages sometimes.

And because you have fitted so much insulation, the bus will stay warmer in winter time.
