Today was my last ride, on the old faithful foldy bike.. Some knobhead decided to cut the lock and steal it from outside the main door of B&Q.. Just why.!
What a pig of a thing to happen. Get it out on social media make it impossible for them to deny they stole it, plaster pictures everywhere!
Imagine my surprise, come back to a space, the lock and my old cap.. left it locked all over various towns, I took over the mountain and road bike, which i know are attractive to thieves. The shop looked on their ctv.. Saw me riding in but no camera near it at, the exit door..? Where shop lifters exit.? Possibly not interested Manager said they have had bolt cutters stolen, then used on bikes, Took a mile stroll up the river and around the store,where a few herberts drink.. my guess is it went in the back of one of the many vans leaving, someone with a cropper
Yea who wants a kids ladies shopping bike... We had 7 great years together cost next to nowt... And I have an eye on a replacement..
Ya can never know, Its an unusal bike, The towns small, i will always have an eye out, and it may pop up on sales sites...
Bet it's been nicked and dumped to save them a walk ..bloody annoying . It's probably been chucked in the hedge after use somewhere ,worth a walk around maybe .
