That's Campervan Blagging.

We ambled along to a local show today, the Ramsey Steam and Vintage Show. As we drove up we saw two entrances, Public and Exhibitors. Nothing ventured nothing gained so I drove into the Exhibitors entrance and suggested to the guy on the gate that adding a lovely old campervan to his show would be a good idea.

The man on the gate, he say Yes.

In for free and right in the middle of everything.





It was a surprisingly big show and we didn't even manage to look around it all. Luckily it's a two day show so we're going back tomorrow.

Love the old A60 Austin Cambridge my grandad had one YBF166D then upgraded to a Morris Oxford.

 

Looks a cracking show Bob Very similar to Hollowell Steam Fair here near Northampton.

 

Happy days and for free , went here last year but not in my bus and it is a great weekend away.

I think last years was the first ever show. It's far far bigger than we expected.

It's £8 I think, make sure you come over to us for coffee or beer. I'll stick my red/white flag up.

I'm impressed that you can remember the reg.

 

I recall most reg's of the 50+ cars I've had and a few from my childhood.

 

I couldn't tell you the reg no of the car I've got now....and I've had that for 7 years.
