I'm still not convinced about the scoring on the swing-ball....
Beaver, not fitted it yet, I will do it this week, but I'm sure it will go in now you have give me tips I needed.
Robo, I love the knitting caption, proper made me laugh.
Thanks to everyone for a great Saturday. It was my first event, and was made to feel very welcome by everyone . Sorry I couldn't stay and drink with you all (hopefully next time), but I made it home by 00:30. Big thanks to @davidoft for helping me sort out my locks and general advice (oh, and providing boiling water for the tea ) and everyone else who helped, advised and enlightened me with the details of my recently purchased van. I honestly had no idea the passenger seat could rotate - I'm well chuffed with that!!!
I now feel armed with a new confidence to attack my bus, and will be getting my hands dirty more often now
So, when's the next one?
the next one (subject to me confirming tomorrow with jackie/eddy) will be the weekend of september 27/8/9
We are still sleeping in the van
Did anyone get account of the total number of vans that were there?
I counted 34 + 1 lovely T5.
eddy said 38 people paid in but 2 tents so we think around 36!
Also one car no tent in the shape of @vanorak
fair one, anyway there was deffo a lot we'll say 35 and call it evens.
The most I've ever known.
Well done the promotion team.
Must be the best turn out in years, in spite of the rain on Friday
I have a 13mm spanner...
nice one guys!
whats the story mate?
found out one of the cylinder heads is duff mate, we have to strip down and look at the rest, made it home though.
Better get your passport sorted then.
I had that..
good luck with it
Heard you did rather well with the scoring ?
Hi thought that I counted 38 including the T5 on Saturday lunchtime, did any come just for the day Saturday?
