You could probably tie wrap a 7 core cable,
along the underside

 

I’ve got the conduit, so would like to use it. But maybe I’ll tie wrap it rather than c-clip it.

If you do that, try using reusable cable ties, then when you’re cleaning under the bus, you can slacken them and make sure you’ve cleaned off anything that’s trapped between the conduit and the chassis rail.

On top of the prongs that hold the flap up. Friends of ours with your girls said without it their hair regularly got tied up in the prongs.

Good question, I can't remember though we did have one too.
