https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m000qd6w/winter-walks Here is the link to all of the Winter Walks, including Simon's walk. I wasn't sure I would enjoy some of them, but I decided to look past my political stance and even enjoyed Sayeeda Warsi's and Alistair Campbells' walks
I'd not seen it before but watching it now. Competitive walking routes? Everything has to be a darned competition these days
We did that walk on 23rd June 2016. Stayed at the campsite in RHB for a few days as part of a tour of Derbyshire & Yorkshire. How do I remember the date you ask - well we walked past the queue outside a Brexit polling station in Scarborough.
It’s a stunning part of the country & always great to be back there! Scarborough looked tired last time we passed through.
Nothing new then ... ? For 7 years i lived in a village just outside 'Scabby' and "town" was needing a facelift back in the 90s , glad to hear it's still a reflection of the sad cretins living there Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
