There are still a few new cases in Germany and it’s possible that Ahnendorp B.A.S. knows where they are but might not actually have any in stock.
ORRETECH have some. They have a lot of uncommon main bearing combos too. There not cheap though and the shipping costs are crazy.
Wow. I think you would have to be a really sloppy builder to do a rebuild that knocks like that; either using the wrong bearings or really worn or damaged parts. While my first attempts at rebuilding were lacking in attention to some details, they ran well, didn’t knock and were probably 50k mile engines.
I don't know if it's of any help but I have a couple of 2ltr CJ cases here which both need a line bore. Let me know, I don't want a lot for them.
