I've done a little research on the subject (guy on The Samba posted a thread three years or so ago), I quite like the idea of the alternator heater blower as opposed to the Baywindow supplementary electric blower. Aforementioned thread on The Samba seemed to highlight the alternator as the major show stopper for this (it overhangs quite a lot), has anyone else got any experiences of attempting this conversion?
Yep. It doesn't fit but you can make it fit but your likely to have gaps.. I wouldn't keep the t25ness of the blower set up and convert to bay components if were thee!
To which my response is: "fork that!". I'll bin that idea for a long term project then! Anyway, I'll have a super-reliable motor soon @Paul Weeding
