T4 vs T1 cooling ? And the temp sensors are in the Mexican sensor holes which are nearer to the exhaust ports and further from the spark plugs. So they measure the bulk temperature of the head more than the combustion chamber.
Spark plug sensors will read hotter then drop as heat source reduces power, heads overall warm up as fins reduce cooling as the airflow slows.

Also if you fitted the 009 at Centre Parcs, you timed it right ?

  4. Yep timed it to 30 degrees at full advance, idles at 7.5. With the 009 the engine is so much quieter and smoother and has more power. I think the distributor which failed was a cheap version. Have a look at the photo

  5. The electronic module was loose, looks like it was rubbing and eventually failed

Thats a cheap distributor. But the ? loose screw is an oops. Theres obviously meant to be a gap.
Pity it ground through the Hall sensor there.. as it obviously was working up to that point.

I would buy that SVDA another module. As it will run better than with an 009 on a bus..you did block the vacuum hose from the carb too ?
