Suzuki Hayabusa, my extreme polar opposite to the bay.

I convinced Susan it was a sports tourer, I just neglected to mention just how fast the tour would be, but at least we can make up for the blurry tours with a relaxing cruise in our bay. I decided it made sence though that if we were to have one of the slowest modes of transport me might as well also have one of the fastest, its all about the scales of balance lol.

  2. She should be thankful you didn't go for an S1000RR cos at least it's comfy on the back of a busa.

I dont think ive ever been so terrified in my life and i had very sore neck muscles from the on throttle off throttle head bobbing
Its scary going insanly fast when someone else is in control

Your correct though a polar opposite to a bay

  6. It all gets confusing after 180 so dont change up into top!

  7. They used to hit 201 mph before they started restricting them in about 2004, they're electronically limited to 186 now, that is unless you fit a tmi from the good old US of A, this tricks the electronics and lets you have full control, I've not got been brave enough yet but considerering since the restrictions the bike has lost weight and increased the engine size slightly I'd guess it'd be capable of 205mph or maybe more. Scary compaired to our vans top end of about 55 lol.

  11. If your feeling brave enough your welcome, although I can't make any promises about not dieing, volvo drivers are everywhere.

  12. At bollistic speeds it gets incredibly quiet and believe it or not the world seems to slow down around you. Your vision narrows as peripheral vision becomes non existant Its blurry and your neck turns to rubber. Hit a dip in the road and you cant lift your head back up. Then you stop, then you start to shake, have a fag, then you say... I aint doing that again.... then you do it a gain.

Never manages the 200 mark, but never rode anything that would quite get there

  19. The chap who lived in the apartment above me in London bought one of those in about 2001 - he was as white a sheet when he took his helmet off after riding it home from the showroom. He said he only had to think about touching the accelerator and he was in danger of having to get his face peeled off the car in front.

  20. Very nice. Quickest I've ever been was 178mph on my 2001 R1 and I bottled it and shut off (honest officer, it was on a private test track).
